Established in 2017, Sea Kayak Torbay (SKT) is a small team led by Kieran Laurston who is an expert in the local geology and wildlife and has been paddling, sailing, coasteering, and swimming in the waters of South Devon for more than 40 years. SKT specialise in delivering sea kayaking adventures in and around the coves of the English Riviera and are now proud to be also delivering high-quality SUP tours and courses and beach watersports hire. Expert Paddlers
SKT is managed by Kieran Laureston, a highly accredited outdoor practitioner with more than 25 years’ experience in leading groups. Graduating from the School of Adventure Studies in the Highlands in 2014, he holds a first-class Honours degree in Adventure Tourism Management and a Foundation Science degree in Outdoor Education.
As a BCU 5-star trained Sea Kayak Guide and Moderate Water Coach, Kieran can deliver certified BCU 1- to 3-star training and assessment. Kieran was the Founder and President of the University of the Highlands and Islands Paddlesport Club which was designed to assist coaches to gain valuable hours coaching the community.

At SKT, we organise training sessions, courses, day trips, and multi-day experiences for holidaymakers and the local community. Serving children and adults alike, our goal is to increase the accessibility of sea kayaking and share the benefits of low-impact exercise that works your whole body, mind, and soul, in a beautiful environment with like-minded people.
